| Oregon Scientific are very happy to announce the latest round of awards they and their parent company IDT have secured internationally.
The awards include: 1. Plus X award – Winner in the design category for the Philippe Starck collection 2. Plus X award – Winner in the innovation category for the MP100 The Plus X awards are judged by a panel of technical and specialized trade journalists in Germany. Products must be clear examples of absolute industry leading product feature sets.
More awards received were: 3. Hong Kong Award for Industry – Consumer Product Design Certificate of Merit for the Lifestyle Mirror Phone (LS328, due to launch here Q1 2005) 4. Hong Kong Award for Industry – Consumer Product Design Certificate of Merit for the VR636 voice recorder (the world’s slimmest) 5. Hong Kong Award for Industry – Consumer Product Design Certificate of Merit for the MP210 The Hong Kong Awards for industry recognize and encourage excellence as well as promoting successful practices and strategies. The Consumer Product Design awards are judged by experts from the Federation of Hong Kong Industries. There were over 150 entries for this category alone this year. It is worth noting that Oregon Scientific received 3 of only 12 awards in this category. The final two awards received include:
