New player in the Australian consumer electronics market, Oregon Scientific, has a clever little gadget that will soon become your favourite travelling companion.

Oregon’s Travel Projection Alarm Clock (model: RM888P) is a smart little gem that projects the local time in a soft red digital glow onto the ceiling, the wall or even the floor of the hotel room – so you’ll never have to hunt around in the dark for the time.

The clock displays two time zones so users are constantly aware of business hours in their current time zone as well as their home zone. This feature in particular will be music to the ears of loved ones who won’t be woken up by 3am phone calls while you’re overseas.

Other features include the weekday displayed in a choice of five languages, a calendar in date-month format, an alarm and a key lock design protecting the product while in transit along with the carrying pouch which is included.
