| If you’re one of those people who dreads stepping on scales and then peering down to read their weight, new player in the Australian consumer electronics market, Oregon Scientific, has introduced a range of scales which removes the dread.
Well the dread from looking down anyway! Oregon’s “Remote Body Weight Scales” (model: BWR 102) are automatically activated when the user steps on, sending a signal to its remote unit – which the user can position at eye level to see their weight easily without having to look down.
If you want to track the progress of yours and/or family members’ weight loss or gain, this clever set of scales records and stores the date, time and weight of up to four users.
Not only that, the scales also read the body mass index (BMI) of its users, telling them their body fat ratio – perfect for those in training and dieting programs.
